      AT&T Comments on Apple's 3G iPhone
What no Neoreader? Why doesn't AT&T and Apple offer consumers and web users the ability to get information from products or objects in one click?

      Sprint: What's Up?
What happened to Sprint's I.Q., fyi, that had to do with taking pictures of barcodes on objects and getting information????

Things not working out with Scanbuy?

Should have gone with the NeoReader. It is still is a better platform and can click on more items to get additional information from objects, such as, logos, keywords, trademarks, billboards, other things, and, even RFID tags.

FYI 2, The Scanlife program cannot read the Aztec code/s that is spinning on the Sprint I.Q. web site. WHY?

You can read the Aztec code on the Sprint web site with the NeoReader by Neomedia Technologies.

What is up with that Sprint?

      Just more questions.

      Four Ways To Improve Microsoft
MSFT, QCOM, HP, AT&T, VERIZON, need to help bring about mobile barcode reading here in the United States that will counter Google's progress.

BUT, the Neoreader is a physical world navigation tool, NOT, just a barcode reader like Google's Android Scan.

Innovation can come from third parties, can it not?

Innovation at it's best, built off patents, a well developed product, that requires a $$$ strategy.

      Make it work.

Will Better Browsers Pose a New Worry for Google?
When the carriers offer one click to content from my mobile device, AND, consumers can click on physical world objects around them to find instant information, Google will fall by the way side.

6 Questions for Long Term Google Investors
Since this is a long term article on Google, my question is where do they find themselves in the long run with mobile?

They are looking into the 700 spectrum bid along with other companies. The rumor is that they are building a mobile device, the gPhone. They are working with QR codes on print ads.

There is a company once proclaimed to be the next Google for mobile as Google was for the PC. Why?

What about one click to content. What about saying a keyword into the mobile device and having instant information sent to the mobile device. What about clicking on physical world objects? What about being able to click on logos, trademarks, keywords (WHICH IS GOOGLE'S MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME AND PC SEARCHES AND MADE FROM), 1D barcodes (EAN & UPC), 2D barcodes (QR, data matrix, Aztec, Maxi), billboards, slogans, etc.,and RFID.

WHAT IF GOOGLE DOES NOT OWN THE IP FOR MOBILE NAVIGATION AND ONE CLICK TO CONTENT?

Mobile is proclaimed to be the next avenue to the consumer.

My main question is, how is Google going to make mobile navigation easier for web users and consumers to get information fromthe physical world around them in one click?

Where is their future revenue stream coming from? What about Microsoft? What about Apple? What about Nokia? I rather not be a licensee for this 'MOBILE EASY BUTTON'. That is alot of missed revenue per click.

      9 Remarkable Stats on Google
If Google were to offer consumers a "one click" mobile navigation application, a sort of easy button, to the physical world around them.

      Develop a mobile device.

Develop the 700 spectrum where wireless is seemless.

IMO, There would be no competition.

The Key To Google's Success: Innovation or Paranoia?
Great article. I also agree that Google's bread and butter for search on the PC is at risk. In order for Google to get outside the box they need a mobile platform accepted by the Telecoms for now, until, they work their way into the 700 spectrum.

Mobile navigation is where it is at. Google needs a better navigation engine. Consumers do not want spam on thier mobile. IMO, if it was permission based consumer request to be notified, then I am for it. My mobile web minutes are my time, and should not be used for spam or clcik fraud. Let me know when the hunting outfit I want is 25% off. Send me a message.

If Google offer one click to the physical world around us so that we did not have to type. Then I am for it. I would much rather have them develop the reader to "say" the keyword, logo, or trademarks and receive instant information. Of course this is Google major revenue comes from is keywords.

What if another company held the IP to get instant information in one click with your mobile device and did not need Google. What If I could click on their AdSense QR codes and other types of codes to.

IMO, the best reader for the consumer, www.neoreader.com

Some additional DD I have been reading up on is a little company called Neomedia Technologies and Gavitec. Gavitec makes the readers to read these types of codes off the mobile device.

They are also working on a reader for mobile devices called Neoreader.

Nokia Has To Clear The iPhone's High Bar
I think Nokia is on the right track. Especially if they embed, the Neoreader for the physical world into their handsets.

Now, if the carriers were on board then, there might not be a problem. This is holding up the U.S. mass adoption to open competion against Apple.

Why Print Newspapers Are Screwed: The New York Times, For Example
IMO, this is a narrow minded post against the newspapers. Why would Rupert Murdoch buy the WSJ? Why did he buy the newspaper and you are writing about the demise of them?

Think outside the box. How big is advertising thru big media, TV, mags, rags, tabloids, newspapers to reach the consumer? Not everyone is wired to the PC all the time. People are always on the go. Especially business, thru airports, taxi's, etc.

Here is a clue. You need to look at mobile phones and News Corp. They are trialing 'qode' for News of the World. Think about this, I am sure that Rupert already has, how do I give the consumer a interactive response or alert about a topic that was seen in an article or advertisement? How do I give them a permission based reponse to get instant infromation that they might want to know about in the future. What about navigating from a printed article that may have a 2D code, company logo, keyword, or a trademark that you can click on to read more about it? Why not shorten the newspapers, add more content, and, have more adds that will bring in revenue? How do I reach them? Simple, with a dymanic response that the consumer wants. You can then judge the response to fit how it will work for the newspapers.

Newspapers are not dead they are on a turn around. You might want to look again.
