Apple: Greatest Consumer Technology Company in the World?
"Analysts are expecting the company to earn $6.50 next year."

If Apple is guiding to $1.35 per share in the holiday quarter, don't you think those estimates will come down considerably?

      Apple Valuations: Still at Risk
It doesn't matter if AAPL sells off tomorrow or not. If Apple guides lower than street consensus, the stock is going to take another hit on Wednesday.

Cash Position Best for Apple Investor
Where are all the haters now? This blog post has been up for an hour and we have yet to see a fanboy ripping Zach apart over his "cash over AAPL" blog.

Say what you want about Zach's posts over the past few weeks, but you should see now he was right. It's not that he doesn't like Apple. But he saw the reality of what was coming. Fundamentals, brisk iPhone sales and packed Apple stores don't mean a d@mn thing in this market. It's all going down. AAPL is not immune to this.

Citi in Talks With Wachovia as $700B Bailout Plan Moves Forward
      Correct me if I'm wrong, but $250B + $100B + $250B = $600B.

Where is the other $100B going? These politicians don't think we won't notice that, do they?

      Now What for Apple Investors?
Why is Zach short? Because he likes to make money, possibly?

Why do all you fanboys come on here criticizing him every time? You guys hate dissenting voices. Just stay away from this blog if it bothers you that much.

You also have the mistaken notion that AAPL should be performing well in this market. It's a consumer stock, and things just don't look good for the consumer right now, in case you hadn't noticed. So stocks like this pay for that.

Dow 'Dirty Dozen' Offers High Yields and Good Value
Yawn. You guys will be here in another 6 months predicting the "inevitable" cut in Bank of America's dividend. Meanwhile, I'll continue to collect $0.64 per share every three months.

      Thanks for the laughs.

      Solar Breaks Oil Price Dependence
So much for that. Oil is capitulating today and taking the solar sector down with it. Pretty much all of the major solar stocks are down in the neighborhood of 5%. Every time somebody says that alternative energy stocks have become independent of crude oil, it's proven otherwise within weeks if not days. There is a misguided notion that we will not need these alternative energy sources if oil is cheap.

Solar Stocks After Earnings: Suntech Up, ReneSola Down
SOL has appreciated quite nicely over the last few weeks. There was a sell-off on the news immediately after the earnings release, but it has since gained back all it lost and looks poised to go even higher. You don't provide any compelling reasons to choose STP over SOL other than what happened to each stock the day after earnings. I'm not sure what your motive is here. Maybe you could provide a full disclosure???

Whole Foods Stock - Buy What You Know?
I can't disagree with anything you've said here. I like the store, but I don't like the stock at this price. There's no reason it should continue to enjoy premium multiples. They've guided to a buck per share, give or take a few cents. That means the stock is still trading well above the industry P/E average.

The company is now relegated to "show me" status as far as I'm concerned.

Predatory Banking Practices Undermining the U.S. Consumer
Also, it's ridiculous to state that the economy loses out on $30 billion due to this. The bank counts it as revenues, so it still ends up in the nation's GDP. We are ignoring basic macroeconomics principles here.

Why was this blog allowed to be linked to BAC's Yahoo quote page? I mean seriously, this is nothing short of crazy.

Regardless of what order the withdrawals/drafts are processed, the implication is that their are not sufficient funds in the checking account to cover all outstanding transactions. Whether you process larger or smaller amounts first has no effect on the end result: the person has overdrawn their account.

The bottom line (no pun intended) is that people need to manage their personal finances more wisely. The overdraft fees should serve as a motivational tool.

stay foolish, a dividend WOULD encourage long term investment. The lack of a dividend actually makes it more highly traded. If you want to receive dividends, you're probably not going to trade a stock.

      AT&T Comments on Apple's 3G iPhone
They didn't have enough inventory to meet demand when the original iPhone launched. It's not surprising that they doubled the volume in the first 12 days this year. They probably would've have sold double what they did last year if the supply had existed.

My only point is that you should not take the comments at face value.
